Naken Chat

How to setup Naken Chat

First of all, you need to understand that Naken Chat is a client/server software. If you want to run Naken Chat, you must first set up the server on a computer that is connected to the Internet 24 hours a day on a static IP. Well, it doesn't have to be static, but if your IP address changes, people won't be able to find your computer.

After setting up the server, the chatters who will use the chat need a way to connect. The way they connect to the server is through a client. The client can be anything from straight telnet to the Java applets I provide. The users who use the chat decide which client they want to use. Most people who set up Naken Chat will set up the Java applet I provide so people can log into the chat through their web browsers.
