Naken Chat
How To Install Naken Chat Binaries For SolarisThis page only tells you how to install Naken Chat binaries on Solaris. For information on how to configure and run the server please read the unix install/configuration page.
The first step is to download the Solaris binary from the
download page. You can find this under the Solaris Binaries
heading and it will be called something like
nakenchat-2.02-sol9-sparc-local.gz. Anyway, the first step is
to unzip it. After unzipping it you can use pkgadd to install
it.
So if, for example, the .gz file was named
nakenchat-2.02-sol9-sparc-local.gz, you would type:
gzip -d nakenchat-2.02-sol9-sparc-local.gz
pkgadd -d nakenchat-2.02-sol9-sparc-local
After you do this, read the Unix Install docs for how to configure and run the chat.
